The research aims to identify the most common injuries and diseases among men and women attending the physiotherapy department at Al-Marj Social Care Complex in Libya during 2023 and 2024, while studying the differences between the sexes and between the two years. The sample included men (1061 in 2023,1331 in 2024) and women (1588 in 2023, and 1512 in 2024), and medical records were used to analyze the data according to the descriptive method.
The results showed that vertebral injuries were most common in both sexes, while "other cases" came in last. The analyses showed that there were significant differences between women and men in favor of women, with the exception of fractures. Differences also appeared in favor of women in 2023, with the exception of arthritis and seventh nerve. In men, there were differences in favor of 2024, except for the cases of vertebrae and the seventh nerve. The results showed that vertebral injuries are among the most common injuries, with the highest percentage recorded between the two categories of men and women during the years 2023-2024.
